Thank you from the Cougar Ridge Elementary PTSA!

On behalf of the Cougar Ridge Elementary PTSA, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our fantastic families who made the 2022-23 school year a huge success. Below is a list of programs that your generous donations helped to fund. We cannot thank you enough. 

Scholastic funds credits were also donated to staff to pick out books for their classrooms and library.

Enrichment - Classroom Technology, Chess Club, Robotics Club, Match Challenge, Spelling Bee, Art Docent*, Gift-a Book*. All School Grants pay for things like “Character Strong” a Purposeful People Program (social emotional learning). Playground Activities. Grade Level Grants allow our teachers to supplement grade level curriculum needs, and Book to Africa.
 
Staff Support - Individual Teacher/Specialist Support, Staff Appreciation and Luncheons.
 
Community Events - Back to School Social (Meet the Teacher), Kindergartener Night and Playdates, Meet the Teacher (Welcome Back Lunch), Spooky Spaghetti*, Family Bingo Night (via Zoom), Fun Run Obstacle Course and Prizes, Heritage Festival, End of Year Carnival, Fifth Grade Promotion, 5th Grade Yard Signs, and Picnic, Art Reflection, Science Fair (via Zoom), Safety Patrol.
 
Outreach - Student Scholarship, Holiday Gift Program, Green Team, Emergency Supplies

Advocacy - Donation to Issaquah School Foundation, Parent Volunteer Awards, Legislative Assembly Attendance, Donation to new PTSA to get them started.

Administrative - PTSA administrative expenses: Insurance, Taxes, Website, Supplies, PayPal, and Bank Fees, PTSA Council Fees.

*Some events and programs receive contributions and donations.
