Staff appreciation week is here!! It’s time to defy gravity and show the Cougar Ridge team just how wonderful they truly are with a WICKED themed week!
From May 5–9, 2025, Cougar Ridge will be transformed into a land where appreciation soars on broomsticks and love for our staff casts a magical spell. With your help, we’ll make this year’s Staff Appreciation Week one to remember!
There are two important parts to the week: Student Participation Days and PTSA Sponsored Meals, Treats, and Gifts. More to come on the student participation days. For now, please consider signing up to donate time or items.

Spring Playground Nights! – After so much fun with grade wide playground nights this fall, they’re back this spring! Save the date for these fun evenings together! All meetups are at Cougar Ridge from 6-7:30pm.

Help Needed! We are looking for families to sponsor a country/state/cultural heritage. We have trifold poster boards already made from previous years and often hosts will bring a cultural dish/snack/activity to share. Please check out this link to view the existing poster boards we keep at school if you need some inspiration.
We need volunteers for cultural performances, demonstrations, activities, and support roles as well. Click here to sign up to host a table or volunteer! Your support is much appreciated!

Replacement of Bobcat Statue – CR Families, we need your help! – We need to replace our current Bobcat statue with a new one that is waiting to be installed. If you or someone you know has a construction company that can help, please reach out to Diana Heyd for more details.
Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in helping our Cougar Ridge PTSA? – There are many events you can help with such as Book Fair, Spelling Bee, Chess Club, STEAM Club, Science Fair, Art Fair, Reflections, Bingo, Gift-a-Book, and Staff Appreciation. Support roles are available such as webmaster and liaison to Issaquah Schools Foundation. A wonderful way to meet other parents is to help with Meet the Teacher and Kindergarten Playground Night. If you have a lot of time, please consider the Fundraising Committee. If you have a little time, we need help with the school's emergency supplies. Every role is important and any time you can give us is incredibly valuable and appreciated! Please reach out to Kim Beaudoin if you would like more info about any of these positions. We also welcome new ideas on how to support our wonderful community of teachers and students.
