We invite the entire Lakemont community to Cougar Ridge to learn more about the upcoming levies on the February ballot. Speakers from the Issaquah School District and Volunteers for Issaquah Schools will share important information and answer questions. Please help spread the word by sharing with neighbors. Translation services and childcare (available in the library) will be provided.
The Cougar Ridge PTSA is proud to endorse the 2026 Issaquah School District Renewal Levies. These 3 Levies will continue to provide much needed funding to schools in our district, including projects at Cougar Ridge!

Cougar Ridge Elementary PTSA is excited to bring after-school enrichment programs to our students—and we need your help to make them happen! We are currently looking for volunteers (leads and co-leads) to help launch the following programs, with a target start in March 2026:
STEAM After-School Program: Help bring hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities to life for our students.
Art Club: Love creativity? Support student self-expression through fun, hands-on art projects.
Chess Club: Help students build critical thinking, strategy, and focus through the game of chess.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to engage, encourage, and have fun with our students!
Program schedules will be based on your availability, and as a thank-you, your child(ren) are guaranteed a spot in the program you volunteer for.

Replacement of Bobcat Statue – CR Families, we need your help! – We need to replace our current Bobcat statue with a new one that is waiting to be installed. If you or someone you know has a construction company that can help, please reach out to Diana Heyd for more details.
Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in helping our Cougar Ridge PTSA? – There are many events you can help with such as Book Fair, Spelling Bee, Chess Club, STEAM Club, Science Fair, Art Fair, Reflections, Bingo, Gift-a-Book, and Staff Appreciation. Support roles are available such as webmaster and liaison to Issaquah Schools Foundation. A wonderful way to meet other parents is to help with Meet the Teacher and Kindergarten Playground Night. If you have a lot of time, please consider the Fundraising Committee. If you have a little time, we need help with the school's emergency supplies. Every role is important and any time you can give us is incredibly valuable and appreciated! Please reach out to Kim Beaudoin if you would like more info about any of these positions. We also welcome new ideas on how to support our wonderful community of teachers and students.
